The two-day field tour will focus on ecological wildfire rehabilitation work and how to utilize current tools to manage the land for both timber and local traditional First Nation plants, as well as how to incorporate broadleaf management under current policy and the impacts of holistic management to forest health.
The field tour will take place on the traditional territories of the Lhtako-Dene First Nation (Red Bluff) and the Ndazkhot’en First Nation (Nazko).
When: September 20-21.
Where: Quesnel.
