Status & Name Changes

Important Dates

The following dates are applicable if you are applying for a change of status in lieu of renewing your active registrant status for the 2022 fiscal year.

November 30, 2022:

  • registration renewal deadline;
  • your complete application and any applicable fee(s) must be received by the ABCFP;
    • registrants who do not submit a complete change of status request by the renewal deadline will have their registration statuses suspended on December 1, 2022 (per Bylaw 5-19(1)). This means you will no longer legally be allowed to practice professional forestry in British Columbia, until you submit a late fee.

January 31, 2023:

  • final deadline;
  • if you do not take action by this date, your registration will be cancelled.
