Who is Eligible to Write?
The take-home exam is only available to candidates writing the RPF registration exam. It consists of two questions, and you will be asked to answer one of the two questions. The take-home exam portion is now a requirement for all RPF candidates.
Candidates who have not written or were not successful in earlier attempts must write the take-home exam.
According to Section 7 of the Registration Policy, to be eligible to write the registration exam enrolled members must have:
- completed or are close to completing any academic/core competency standards required of you during your articling period;
- be within six months of completing your articles by the date of the exam; and
- reached the earliest date to write the exam, as mentioned in the welcome letter.
What Exams Must I Write?
If you are a candidate required to write the RPF registration exam, you must write the following exams:
- take-home exam
- sit-down exam
When is Take-Home Exam Available?
The
take-home exam is available in January and due in February.
