Readership Survey
Readership/Communications surveys measure the effectiveness of BC Forest Professional magazine and The Increment e-newsletter.
Public Opinion Poll
Public opinion polls are conducted on order to elicit information on the public's awareness of the forestry profession and current forestry issues.

Member survey results are used by council and staff to measure the effectiveness of association programs, services and initiatives, and to guide in development of future strategic plans.

Climate Change Surveys
Two surveys were conducted in 2013, the first to guage awareness of climate change princples and the second to discover constrains on adaptation to climate change in BC forest management.
Applied Research, Professional Practice and Professional Development Survey
The Applied Research, Professional Practice and Professional Development Survey was conducted in October 2011. The goal on this survey was to gauge members' opinion on forestry research, professional knowledge acquisition and professional development.

Salary Survey
Salary surveys are conducted every few years to benchmark the compensation and benefits of registered and enrolled members.

ABCFP Organization (Services) Survey
Beginning in 2008, we surveyed members to find out how well the ABCFP was meeting their needs in several areas including:
- Guidance
- RFT scope of practice
- The Increment
- Enforcement of the Foresters Act and Bylaws
- Advocacy
- The website
- Customer service when members call or e-mail the ABCFP
The 2008 survey collected information used to benchmark levels of member satisfaction. Subsequent surveys report year-to-year trends in satisfaction levels.
